Mulato Isleno Hot Pepper
76 days—Adds flavour with mild heat! A favourite in southwestern fare, this double-duty pepper is known as a poblano when fresh and an ancho when dried. Ideal for roasting and in sauces and rubs, as well as being the preferred pepper for chiles rellenos. These 4- to 6-in. long, heart-shaped peppers mature from dark green to a deep chocolate brown colour. Mildly hot. Approx. 25 seeds per packet.
